  After breakfast, embark on a full-day private sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's most important cultural and spiritual landmarks.

  Begin at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, the temple complex is renowned for its pagoda-style architecture, intricate carvings, and sacred cremation ghats.

  Continue to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a major center of Tibetan Buddhism. Surrounded by monasteries and prayer wheels, the stupa creates a peaceful spiritual atmosphere.

  Today discover the artistic and architectural treasures of the Kathmandu Valley.

  Visit the beautifully preserved medieval city of Bhaktapur, often called Nepal's "Living Museum." Wander through narrow brick-paved lanes lined with traditional houses, temples, pottery workshops, and artisan squares. Highlights include Nyatapola Temple, the tallest pagoda temple in Nepal, and the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows.

  Continue to the historic city of Patan, famous for its remarkable concentration of temples, shrines, and exquisite Newari craftsmanship. Explore Patan Durbar Square, renowned for its finely carved stone sculptures, courtyards, and ancient royal palaces.

  Transfer to the airport for a scenic flight to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara.

  Nestled beneath the towering Annapurna Range, Pokhara is considered Nepal's most picturesque destination. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city including the dramatic Davis Falls, where the Pardi Khola stream disappears underground into a deep limestone gorge.

  Visit the sacred Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, and enjoy views of the majestic Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peaks.

  Later, embark on a peaceful boat ride across the tranquil waters of Phewa Lake. Surrounded by forested hills and Himalayan reflections, the lake is the scenic centerpiece of Pokhara. Visit the Tal Barahi Temple situated on a small island in the middle of the lake.

  Pokhara – Villages, Nature & Himalayan Landscapes

  Enjoy a day exploring the stunning countryside surrounding Pokhara.

  Set out on guided walks through traditional Gurung villages and terraced agricultural landscapes that have supported mountain communities for generations. Interact with local villagers and gain insight into their culture, traditions, and daily life.

  Weather permitting, enjoy magnificent views of the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, and the iconic Machhapuchhre peak. The region offers some of Nepal's most spectacular mountain scenery without strenuous trekking.

  For photography enthusiasts, the ever-changing light on the snow-covered mountains creates unforgettable vistas throughout the day.

  Pokhara – Chitwan National Park

  After breakfast, travel through Nepal's scenic countryside to the subtropical lowlands of southern Nepal and the renowned Chitwan National Park.

  Established in 1973 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chitwan is Nepal's premier wildlife sanctuary. Covering vast grasslands, riverine forests, and wetlands, the park provides refuge to some of South Asia's most endangered wildlife.

  Upon arrival at your jungle lodge, receive an introduction to the park and its wildlife conservation efforts. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk or village visit to learn about the indigenous Tharu community, whose traditions have been closely linked with the jungle environment for centuries.

  Accompanied by expert naturalists, venture into the park on jeep safaris through dense forests and open grasslands. Chitwan is one of the best places in Asia to encounter the endangered one-horned rhinoceros in its natural habitat.

  Additional activities may include canoe rides along the Rapti River, where crocodiles and aquatic birdlife can often be observed, guided jungle walks, birdwatching excursions, and wildlife interpretation programs.

  The park is also home to sloth bears, wild boars, deer, monkeys, over 500 species of birds, and the elusive Bengal tiger, although tiger sightings remain rare.

  The remainder of the day is free to explore Kathmandu independently. Browse local markets for traditional handicrafts, pashmina shawls, singing bowls, prayer flags, and intricate Nepalese artwork, or simply relax and reflect on your journey through the Himalayas.
