Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park

Continue to the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in the ancient Ta Dzong watchtower. The museum contains a rich collection of sacred art, ancient weapons, textiles, masks, and historical artifacts.

Hike to the Legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery
Today experience Bhutan's most iconic landmark.
After breakfast, begin the guided hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), dramatically perched on a cliff face approximately 900 meters above the valley floor.
According to legend, Guru Padmasambhava flew to this site on the back of a tigress and meditated here in the 8th century, establishing Buddhism in Bhutan. The monastery remains one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in the Himalayan region.
The trail passes through pine forests, fluttering prayer flags, and spectacular viewpoints before reaching the monastery complex.
After exploring the monastery and enjoying magnificent mountain views, descend back to Paro.
