    Your first visit is to the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most revered Buddhist temples. Built in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, this temple is believed to be one of 108 temples constructed across the Himalayas to subdue a giant demoness and establish Buddhism throughout the region. Pilgrims from across Bhutan visit this sacred site to offer prayers and seek blessings.

    Continue to a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse where you will gain firsthand insight into rural Bhutanese life. Learn about local customs, farming practices, traditional architecture, and family traditions that have remained largely unchanged for centuries.

    Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, a gigantic gilded Buddha statue standing atop a hill overlooking the valley. Rising more than 50 meters high, it is among the largest Buddha statues in the world and contains thousands of smaller Buddha statues within its structure.

    Continue to the revered Memorial Chorten, one of Bhutan's most important religious monuments. Built in memory of Bhutan's Third King, it serves as a daily gathering place for worshippers who circumambulate the structure while chanting prayers and spinning prayer wheels.

    Descending from the pass, the landscape changes dramatically from alpine forests to subtropical valleys rich with rice terraces and agricultural fields.

    Upon arrival in Punakha, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, widely regarded as Bhutan's most beautiful fortress.     Hike to the Legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery

    Today marks the highlight of your Bhutan journey with an unforgettable pilgrimage to Paro Taktsang.

    Perched dramatically on a cliff approximately 900 meters above the valley floor, Tiger's Nest is Bhutan's most sacred monastery and one of the world's most spectacular religious sites.

    According to Buddhist tradition, Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew here on the back of a tigress in the 8th century and meditated in a cave for three months, introducing Buddhism to Bhutan.
